Helac Corporation Announces New Hydraulic Rotary Actuator Solution, L30

Featuring higher moment loads, increased reliability and added compactness, L30 Load Bear solution replaces large HP actuators

Helac Corporation, a global manufacturer of hydraulic rotary actuators, announced the addition of the L30 Series to its extensive line of rotary actuator solutions. The L30 Series, a replacement solution for Helac’s large HP actuators, offers a unique combination of features not found in other rotary positioning devices. Featuring higher moment load carrying capacities, two mounting configurations and added compactness, the new L30 Series benefits companies by providing excellent corrosion resistance, making actuators easier to disassemble, and increasing the durability and reliability of the solution.

The L30 Series is available in five sizes with torque output ranging from 65,000 to 215,000 in-lb (7,345 to 24,295 Nm), making it an ideal solution for heavy duty applications requiring high load carrying capabilities such as construction, mining, agriculture, and military.

L30 features include:

• Standard product line that’s readily available in foot and flange mount configurations allows customers to order small or large quantities
• Redesigned gearing allows for higher moment load capacities and a 25 percent reduction in length in majority of models
• Strengthened all major components, resulting in higher reliability
• Added new end cap locking/greasing/exclusion seal system, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance and prolonged service life
• Improved piston locking method eliminates failure and reduces repair requirements, thereby improving reliability and durability
