New L10 Series Hydraulic Rotary Actuators
ENUMCLAW, Washington
Helac Corporation has announced the introduction of its new L10 Series hydraulic rotary actuators. The L10 Series features very compact configurations that produce exceptionally high output torque. The L10 design incorporates large, integral bearings that can support and rotate heavy loads without the need for additional, external bearings. The through shaft terminates at one end with a large diameter, drilled and tapped flange that enables loads to be securely bolt-mounted directly to the actuator. The shaft also features a hollow bore that reduces weight and can be used as a secondary load path or passage for hydraulic hoses, electrical wiring, etc. Helac's sliding spline design gives the L10 Series actuators exceptional resilience to shock loads. Zero leakage seals have eliminated all internal bypass and external leakage, assuring positive performance and permitting selected positions to be maintained without drift. 180 degree and 360 degree rotations are standard. Six models are available with torque output to 25,000 IN-LB at 3000 psi (2,825 Nm at 210 bar). Very compact, direct mounted, integral counterbalance valves can be provided as a factory-installed standard option.
The L10 Series is part of Helac's new "LoadBear" product line -- compact, high torque rotary actuators, unique in their ability to carry and rotate heavy radial, moment, and thrust loads without the need for additional, external bearing support, hence the name "Load Bear (ing)".
