Helac Corporation Hires Vice President of Operations
Enumclaw, WA — December 1, 2010
Helac Corporation, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic rotary actuators and construction equipment attachments, is pleased to announce Tom Berghan as Vice President of Operations. Tom will oversee day-to-day operations of Helac's manufacturing with a focus on improving product quality and on-time delivery performance.
Tom is genuinely passionate about operations and has an extensive background in Lean Systems management that includes consulting and training corporate leaders in production flows. "I have a history of transforming manufacturing operations in both North America and Europe to lean operations using the Toyota Production System. It is this experience that will help improve quality and shorten lead-time to our customers at Helac," said Berghan. Most recently, Tom was a System Manager at Terex and Operations Manager for Genie Industries. Previously, he worked as a Lean Systems Manager for Esterline Technologies and as an Operations Manager at Avtech Corporation.
