Midwestern Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
Helac Corporation, Enumclaw, WA, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic rotary actuators for mobile equipment is looking for a Midwest Regional Sales Manager. The position requires heavy "Customer Centered" sales experience with four primary responsibilities: 1) Maintaining and growing existing accounts. 2) Prospecting, qualifying, and obtaining business from new accounts. 3) Monitoring and assuring satisfaction of existing and new customers. 4) Achieving and surpassing accountability matrix goals. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing and will work out of a virtual office.
Must Have Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline, or equivalent.
- 5 to 10 years of regional sales manager experience related to value added technical manufactured durable products sold to commercial customers.
- Fluid Power Certification is a plus.
- Experience selling to OEMs and through distribution.
- Proven experience completing the sales cycle, including targeting potential new business, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with the ability to develop and execute innovative approaches to selling product and services.
- Extensive experience selling into accounts where there was previously no relationship. A passion for growing sales with a "Hunter" mentality.
- 100% accountable for attaining sales revenue, profitability, expense, prospecting, closing, visitation and report goals for the region.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can perform in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Working knowledge of basic hydraulics and mechanics.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with purchasing, engineering, marketing and executive contacts.
- Ability to travel within a large geographical region with up to 75% overnight travel.
- Ability to work in a virtual office environment
- Autonomy & self-starter, yet team player with headquarters’ support.
- Experienced with long sales cycle.
- High sense of urgency, aggressive and self-starter.
- High standard of professionalism and ethics.
- Excellent overall business skills.
- CRM software proficiency (preferably Clientele) and the willingness to use it for all correspondence.
- PC proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
- Must be competitive, creative and able to act decisively.
- Solid business acumen. Requires strong strategic planning skills and proven ability to forecast regional revenue, gross profit and expenses effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills are essential along with effective negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies.
- Reside within the central region, (which consists of 13 Central U.S. states and 4-Canadian provinces) and be located near a major airport (preferably in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Michigan).

CNC Maintenance Mechanic 3002
Work Summary
Repairs and maintains CNC machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs of all CNC equipment.
- Repairs all breakdowns of CNC equipment as directed to ensure production schedules are kept.
- Activley participates in company-sponsored training programs.
- Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- A combination of training and experience equaling at least 5 years combined, in CNC and equipment maintenance.
- Team members in this position install, maintain, repair and inspect mechanical, facility and electrical equipment and systems. Perform work involving skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment and the structure of the facility in repair. Strong mechanical, electrical aptitude and fabricating skills.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devisces.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, using prints, ladder diagrams, repair manuals and parts catalogs as needed. Knowledge of and experience in CNC trouble shooting and repair.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow complex written and verbal instruction.
- The ability to diagnose, repair and install wiring, electrical equipment and electronic components.
- Ability to read blue prints, schematics, and ladder logic.
- Knowledge of and experience in CNC troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow complex written and verbal instructions.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; twist or bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member frequently is required to walk, talk or hear. The team member is occasionally required to climb or balance. Approximately 30% of work time is spent on a man lift at heights up to 24 feet. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

CNC Machinist 4308
Work Summary
Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:
- Set up different types of production equipment.
- Makes setups on all jobs in the cell and blocks through programs.
- Loads, unloads, deburrs and does all inspection of any run in the cell.
- Move offsets and perform complex editing on the control.
- Programs all jobs in the cell.
- Understanding of tooling, loading, usage, speeds and feeds, etc.
- Determine when carbide coatings should be used.
- Select production methods.
- Determine the sequence of operations, methods of setup and layout.
- Reduce run times and increase tool life.
- Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
- Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Completion of a vocational or apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
- Minimum three years experience as a CNC lathe or mill operator or the equivalent. Ability to demonstrate this knowledge to the supervisor.
